2024 Cape Fear Photographer of the Year
Congratulations to the winning photographers and photographs featured in the 2024 Cape Fear Living Photographer of the Year Competition. This includes Greg Ghia and his submission for his aerial drone shot high overhead at Carolina Beach.
Jurors T.J. Drechsel, Matt Ray, and Editor-in-Chief Colleen Thompson, a James Beard Member & Writer have chosen photographs based on beauty and composition. Still, inevitably, selections came down to the photographer's unique perspective and diversity in approach. The use of color and what it represents in the coastal landscape we live in became an overarching theme in all categories.
Each of the photographs selected captured details about a place, person, bird or simply the light that could not have been expressed in any other way.

Please join us on Saturday, 14th September 2024, at End of Days Distillery, 1815 Castle Street, Wilmington, for the Cape Fear Living Photographer of the Year Competition.
2:30-4:30 pm to view the beautiful photographs and celebrate the talented photographers in our community.
Join us for snacks, funky music, and a cash bar for those who would like to linger and sample “The Golden Hour,” created by EOD especially for the event.
Photographs will remain up at the End of Days until Monday 16th November.
